Since you are in control of the steering, you have the opportunity to choose the safari destinations of your choice. The safari has two routes for you to choose from to make your experience the best ever. You either start with the western route or the eastern route and all these routes will connect you to the places of your choice with a perfect experience.

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will receive the rooftop tent jeep from our representative who will give you the contract and sign it as well. You will be briefed on how to use this jeep. You will drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will do your first activity on your safari and take a night in here on your rooftop tent jeep. You will track rhinos while here giving the chance to witness white rhinos.

You will again enjoy a scenic drive through Masindi to Murchison Falls National Park where you will start with a visit to the top of the falls. You will enjoy spectacular views, experience the cooling sensation of the gentle spray and listen to the crashing of the water as you make your way to the top. From this vantage point, you will see the powerful, churning waters force through a narrow gorge before dropping to the depths below.

You will then after drive to the camping site where you will park and spread your rooftop tent for overnight. Early in the morning, you will be able to get the park views from you sleeping area with good melodies of nature as well as birds.

Later embark on a game drive with in the park looking for wild game. This is the best way to see and appreciate the rich diversity of Wildlife in the Park.  You will be able to witness the Buffaloes, Jackson hartebeests, Antelopes, Lions, Kobs, Giraffes, Hyenas, Bush bucks and Warthogs among others. They are widely spread all over the Savannah grasslands, grazing or hunting for prey.

Embark on a boat cruise in the afternoon. This will take you to the bottom of the falls which is the starting point for hiking to the top of the falls taking two to three hours. you will have an opportunity to enjoy viewing a wide range of wildlife animals such the elephants drinking water at the river banks, the Nile crocodiles, the hippos, zebras, water bucks among others as well as wildlife birds on the river bank such as the red throated bee-eater, horn bills, malachite king fisher among others.

Continue with scenic views to Kibale Forest National Park. You will get the opportunity to witness chimpanzees in this park. This will involve an early morning briefing before you head for the search. You will report to the headquarter with your trekking permit of $250 giving you the opportunity to stay with the chimps for one hour.

You will move in groups of not more than 6people escorted by an armed game ranger who knows where the primates slept the previous night. Once you are in contact with them, you take your time to learn their behaviours and take photos of your choice as well.

In the afternoon, take the Bigodi Walk giving you the opportunity to see a variety of birds in the Bigodi swamp. The “Home of the Great Blue Turaco” is a real bird watcher’s paradise. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds including Horn bills, Turaco, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers and many more swamp endemics.

Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey and the Blue Monkey.

Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park for yet another game drive and a boat cruise. Mweya Peninsula is the most visited attraction within Queen Elizabeth National Park. Situated on the northern bank of the Kazinga Channel, the Mweya Peninsula provides access to the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward.

The 3–4-hour games drives start in the early morning to any of the three sectors – the Kasenyi plains (near Kazinga Channel), Ishasha sector (tree climbing lions) or the Katwe crater fields. The crater lakes region has beautiful landscape with large craters and salt lakes that were formed thousands of years ago.

In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise at the Kazinga channel. Hippos, water birds and crocodiles rule the waters while elephants, antelopes and predators like leopards drinking water in the shallow ends of the channel.

Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park for gorilla trekking. Wake up early in the morning with break fast head to the park headquarters with your trekking permit of $800 for briefing. It will take from 30mins to 8hrs searching. Once you are in contact with them, you will spend one hour with them learning about their behaviour as well as taking photos of your choice.
